Just like last week when the markets were jittering downwards, today seems like an excellent day for a gold announcement. I hope they have something up their sleeve for this afternoon.
In this market announcements with the word "gold" in them are likely to get more attention than at other times.
And as much as it might not make a difference in SP today, the more eyes are on TNR, the better set we'll be for when the SP-moving announcements start coming out.
