    interesting Dex, I run by the scenario that oil is from the ocean (prehistoric plankton etc) and coal is from plants and thus land. Interesting that it makes sense of distribution of oil and coal.
    I was just over at Leigh Creek in Sth Australia, big coalfield there used to power Pt Augusta power plant. Lots of sulfur though, being an open pit mine.
