- It seems a decision on who the successful bidders are is imminent and begs the question: what will be the response of the two or three bidding consortia who miss out on Tavan Tolgoi? Maybe they?ll be keen to jv with another greenfields Mongolian coal project. Maybe they?ll even have deep pockets and want an offtake agreement as well as a slice of project equity. Maybe there won?t be much need for a large cap raising after the Sthn licenses have been settled on. Quite a few maybes here though, and it?s still Earley days here.
