i hope you are right. But i am unconvinced regarding the JV farmin. FAR have been consistently stating that they have two offers and a third pending from major oil companies for several months now.
Obviously these negotiations would have continued during the Hunt exit and the majors would have been briefed before us and therfore should by now have clarified their position especially as they stand to make a much greater return with no real increase in downside as the cost of drilling will be the same to them regardless of their percentage in the project.
i think for ME to continually state that a third offer is pending for three months is a bit of a furphy (perhaps lost in mail!)
It is now time for clarification to the SH's who have been strung along for too long now.
There is still time for 2008 to be a watershed year for FAR but time is now against us
