+++++++++++++++++++++++++ The directors of MaxiTRANS Industries Limited, Australia's largest supplier of road transport trailing equipment and solutions, wish to advise that the net profit after tax for the six months ending December 2002 is expected to exceed the net profit after tax for the full year ended June 2002 of $2,587,000.
The forecast improvement is due to strong order intake and build of vans and trailers for the first five months of the financial year along with continued improvement in operational performance.
Order intake remains strong with a full order book well into the new calendar year.
The new facility at Boundary Road, Derrimut, Melbourne's transport hub, is now fully operational. This facility accommodates equipment sales, wholesale and retail parts, service/repairs and corporate office.
