- hmmmm ..do you mean something like a Dividend announcement or a Buy Back ?
Yeh that would do it gassin but we've been here before haven't we
- well to technically correct, and wouldn't bet the house on it but I would have to disagree that things are a little different if you are able to believe the validity from the board at the Melbourne meeting that they have actually realised the importance of a buyback or dividend to the aud market to set the shareprice in the right direction
- we all have to look at this non judgementally. Clearly the board had taken the time and effort to travel to three major citities in aus to see once and for all the reason why their is so much investor dis-trust and what is needed to get this share price moving in the right direction. You have to think about this trip as a major major positive. Clearly the board and company sees a major major problem here on investor sentiment and has come abroad to take suggestions and to take ideas as to what we need to all get this share price moving in the right direction. The company would not of come all the way down unless they have genuine interest to get this thing going
- So like aforementioned, no we haven't been here before. Previosuly the company had not been abroad to hear from aus investors first hand the reason why their is such mistrust and reluctance for the share price to moving north. To hear that the ceo and board have actually heard from shareholders how much dividends and buybacks are holding this company back in two meeting and come back at the third to say that they have listened and it is now being carefully considered proves that our board are finally listening and have accepted that this problem is real and that it must be addressed. Either way I am an optimist and like many am aware that the company may well of just said this to save face at the meetings and quieten the shareholders on the attack, but have a sincere belief that the ceo and board understand just how real the non payment of a dividend and buybacks are a driving factor why the shareprice is being held back
- Clearly unlike many other listed asx company's our ceo has more skin in the game than any of us and has more at stake and more to gain with a rising shareprice. It is for this paramount reason that I do feel that this could be a change of things to come. I do have faith and confidence that the company will actively look into these matters which they have know firsthand now is the main reason why we are where we are - Nothing shows to us their desire to get this moving then their reason for coming all the way down to aus to meet shareholders and finding and addressing problems raised - good days coming imo
