Today's update from ADE re the tests being conducted in labs in USA on shale samples gathered from Encounter1 seem to have passed unoticed. Got me foxed why mkt is not more positive. Afterall the comments from ADE are (imo) strongly +ve and they state: 'Early test results show TOC values in the REM shale sequence compare very favourably to numbers seen in the gas shale plays in the USA'.
My focus is on 2 words. Firstly they state 'very favourably' as opposed to simply 'favourably'. Secondly, they compare our samples with those in the USA which has the best commercial shale so far discovered/utilised anywhere. ADE could have said 'compared to gas shale elsewhere around the world' or similar. Instead, it specifically compares the samples to those that are producing good profits. BHP vindicates how profitable these shale deposits can be. Anyway, do yr own take on today's wording.
