Well the ENC plant will be an HPAL, producing battery grade mixed nickel/cobalt preciptate while the Delong/Gunbusters operation smelts nickel pig iron. NIC already has sufficient npi smelters.
Apparently Tsingshan outcompeted Delong causing them to go bust, so its probably best to stick with Tsingshan who have a proven record of building efficient HPAL plants.
The NIC ENC plant will have a dedicated solar power array, and will utilise heat energy from the exothermic sulphuric acid production. It will come very close to producing zero CO2.
