Whatever the cause I'm amazed this remained a fringe issue. Deaths ran massively above the long term trend in 2022 with little to no mainstream coverage of possible causes, or even whether it was being investigated. One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts was the only person I saw raise the issue in a question to the minister assisting the Health Minister in the Senate who was blissfully unaware that Australia even had an unprecedented death rate in that year. If 25 000+ plus excess deaths in Australia in a 12 month period isn't a story worthy of covering, I'm not quite sure what is....
