problem with RAT is that most leases are to US Gov and fixed for 15 years, so that is why yield is so high because ove the years it will not increase, but as they acquire newer holdings these old leases will diluted. since they are A grade leases they can borrow more at lower int rates.
l still figure the market is marking them down too much, but the rising AUD is a worry and it seems like the commod boom will continue for some time.
l have been $ cost averaging down from 1.05 and will continue buying over time, but the depressed sentiment could last for months yet. Patience is required here
