The recent step up in $A versus $USD has been triggered by an interest rate rise - and we are going to have more of them.
However, the USA is beginning to discuss moving away from their rock bottom interest rates as we speak - and will begin their own journey shortly. That will impact on relative values when it begins.
I was listening to some Treasury folk on the radio the other day & they seemed to think we are at close to peak against the USD, and will be lower within the coming 12 months.
EXT is being valued on many fronts at present. 1. Proven resource 2. Resource identified, but not yet JORC compliant 3. Expectations of further finds within and between current resource zones 4. Potential for a takeover 5. Expected shortfall in Uranium supply when secondary sources dry up 6. Deep research by some, and pure bandwagon jumping by others 7. ???any others???
