excited about monotherapies

Hi All

As you are aware there has been a fair bit of scepticism about SCs claims that all is good when he has claimed that ArTiMist, which is a monotherapy, is OK to be used as a prereferral treatment for severe malaria in children.

Well he is dead right. If you read the paper " WHO Briefing on Malaria Treatment Guidelines and artemisinin monotherapies. Geneva 19th April 2006" it is all there on page 14 section under the heading Implication for industry of the WHO Guidelines fot treatment of malaria.

A good read that blows away the fog of doubt and certainly clarifies that SC is definitely on theright path....can't you tell that I am just like BIG KEV....excited.

If you haven't the time to look it up for yourself I will put up another post in the next day or so..... with my 2 fingered typing speed I don't have enough time today but just had to point the keen SUDA followers to the document asap.
