They got something wrong. Chevron, instead of Conoco, wonder if they ever proof-read(?) prior to publishing.

As for the reservoir Richie, the Net:Gr ratio was appr 31% with 2 decent basal blocky sands in a 30m net pay section, 96m gross.

They did recover fluid samples from the MDT tool that's run prior to casing of that section with a 9" casing,

Oil Density was apprx 32API which is in the light category.

Age is Middle Cretaceous (ie Albian). What else......

There is a coarse looking sand at the top of the oil interval that should b tested separately, alongwith some thin stringers.

So to answer y'r question, they had a gascap with a GOR of 750, oilpay had 24% phi, very high OilSat apprx 73% & high perm's. These r in 1 location where the discovery was made.

Not to mention an a clear OWC & a gascap with a clear GOC. The shift in pressure gradient from the gas zone to oil was typical, hence the buzz.

Why is all that necessary to know. B'coz in this stoneage operators also drill water & gas injectors to keep a high flowrate during production.

Plans end of the year are:

    -  r to do step out drilling
    - to suss out any comparments, pressure drop-offs or connectivity amngst the sands.
    - cut an actual full core (besides the MSCT plugs)
    - conduct a DST, as the mkt wants an actual BOPD, wellhead & sub-surface pressure (psi) readouts not that any Analyst or Journo would understand that, but most PetrGeo's would.
    - Lock in a reserve estimate ie 1P & 2P

Besides Insto's want to see all of that to write a chq in the event of a finance facility door knock down the track.

eg: In 2004-'05 Hardman used ANZ in London to write them a US$100mil chq to meet their 19% requirements for Dev costs at Chinguetti & had a few insto's, ie Oriel Securities etc, to canvass for them over there. FAR should b in that league mid-2016 should all go well with the appraisal's (ie flow oil & not gas, establish a connectivity in the sands across the structure etc etc, the usual petrophysics risks).

I think that will do for now from a fundamental perspective. To b continued.... when the drill bit (if its a PDC) drills past 2250m at SNE-2, later in the year. Cheers.
