RED not putting out a separate announcement on Mapawa first drillhole seems strange as it would have at least confirmed the earlier announcement of the significant host to porphyry-style mineralisation, even if the gold values in that first hole are low - but of course that is speculation too! I presume that the gold assays in the first hole are low however.

The commentary re Investor Presentation is VERY bullish in my view. In particular the reference to ..."Deutsche Bank due diligence...no show-stoppers..."!!!

The presentation confirms that the project is starting to ramp up with various contracts either already awarded or in process.

With regard to Mapawa we must be mindful that there is NOTHING in RED share price that can be attributed to value on Mapawa IMO. Whilst Mapawa has always had the potential to add to RED value it has always been a secondary consideration, and even if Mapawa turns out to be nothing 90% of Siana value owned by RED is worth close to 30 cents on current gold price.

Mgm1a, your comment about the previous drilling by others (Suricon) on Mapawa - that was restricted to the gold cap zone on the LSY project, so we don't expect any information below that cap position for gold - and the first hole was targetted at the IP anomaly, not the gold cap zone. In terms of the IP anomaly, there is no indication of maximum depth potential from that anomaly that i am aware of, only an indication of what the shallowest (top) position of the change in lithology to the presumed porphyry host.
