Considering 12% of the company traded in the first hour today and the low market cap your theory is incorrect. If they have some good drill intersects and prove that there's a lot of gold in the ground lots of people will want to buy and low sellers will disappear. It will be easy to get through the "sheer number of shares" at current values if they are worth more than the price they are trading at.
