At last an intelligent post, many thanks growth goblin.
Yes you can hold onto your stock and trade it through a broker.
There are so many unknowns at the moment with regards to price etc.
You would assume a prospectus would be put out prior to the new listing, will the company be valued at $2B plus?
The last traded price here may have nothing to do with the new price at listing.
How many shares will 1 currently held LNC share be on the new listing?
Or another example, will there be a 1-2 consolidation and list at SG$10, we don’t know.
All the important information will be provided in due coarse, it appears they did not have the time to include the nuts and bolts as the ASX made them release this announcement immediately.
Looks like they were caught off guard by the ASX which is a shame, corporate and legal advice a little short perhaps.
This is disappointing as PB has had this move in the gun for 12 months apparently.
Too many unknowns to sell now if you are a long term believer in the future of Linc Energy.
I doubt they intend to destroy shareholder wealth; in fact quite the opposite would be the aim.
