Newjo, I might be new to HC, but I've been doing business in Asia for 20 years. This deal is an opportunistic deal for the Chinese, they are literally stealing the Company for cents in the dollar. Management who agree to this are either fools and/or are just making sure that they still have a job.
Some management are smarter during this credit crisis, take Grange GRR for example. Done a reverse takeover and now have a Chinese investor with very deep pockets and didn't sell the farm to accomplish it.
Yes, you are right everyone has the right to present his or her opinion.
I can tell you the Chinese are much smarter than you realise, desperate shareholders will sell the farm and in years to come you'll be an employee of a Chinese Company.
