i hope its something very big flying underneath the radar - i've been holing for 8 years. I've only seen one period of excitement which was when the price spiked to about 60c ... in about 2008... since then... nothing...
i'm hoping David Marino from Ford can bring something to the table - However i'm not feeling confident as Ford really didn't show much innovation during David's tenure in terms of making a profit; Ford operated at a loss for most of the last decade; and the business watched its leadership position dwindle until Ford gave itself an eviction notice. And apparently David Marino was an important cog in that business that went backwards. So yes - QHL has some good technology but there is more to profit than waiting on Audi and aircraft - and I'm not sure David is innovative and commercially brilliant enough to get into other industries. If QHL pilfered someone from Hyundai, BMW, Audi or Volkswagon, then I'd be feeling a little more excited.

In terms of other markets, I'd be investigating the manufacture or helping to manufacture things like push bikes, or motor bikes, surfboards, wheel hubs, outdoor furniture, stadium seating, bike helmets,... so many other areas perhaps to investigate, some already being done, but all profitable, perhaps easy money perhaps not.. but i'd like to see QHL investigate other industries or products where weight and strength are considerations.

By all means, RST is supposed to be the injection that lifts QHL to a long life of big profits but i've been hearing announcements for about 4 years on RST and the only things I've seen on non-stealth radar is the F35 and C130J contracts, and a small satellite shielding unit. Thales is "supposed" to get QHL into RST on a small scale and show how easy and fast it is, but I'm not even confident that is going to happen. Maybe 75% chance perhaps... IMO.. What else are they chasing??? High Margin / Medium Volume ... or perhaps small margin / high volume.

Car manufacturing in Australia appears to be on its way out so what foot in the door is David Marino supposed to offer QHL - perhaps he has LOTS of contacts in Asia but i'm not banking on it... I'm hoping all my negative speculation is the worst case scenario.... But I'm not feeling the excitement and I'm not feeling like QHL is taking their innovative technology and looking at other innovative ways of selling it in areas aside from car panels and aircraft panels - perhaps that where it is best suited.

What I think will happen is a gradual rise in sales and income due to the F35 and C130J production rates increasing. Lets hope David impresses and becomes innovative and proves me wrong - something i'll be very happy with as I'm got a sizeable chunk in QHL... Love to hear your thoughts Tricky ... DYOR
