    The referenced JDA is back from 2016 which is reviewed/renewed every 12 months.

    The likely outcome is HGST/Western Digital buy out 100% 4DS Memory. They will not allow a competitor have access to the tech they helped develop and end up paying royalties via the non-exclusive licence deal.
