The company is cashed up with very low fixed overheads, and are actively looking for opportunities to capitalise on their capital. In addition, the current share price is very close to correct value for the cash position. As @Rod_Valens said once, the opportunity to buy $1 for $1 is always a good thing. The accumulators are buying their dollars plus also buying into the expectation of it turning into a good little earner soon... depending on what, if anything, they find.

On the sell side, I'm reading this as the overhang of investors who bought at $0.003 and lower who are able to realise a solid 3-4 bags full at the current price. Ten million shares changed hands with an hour to go today. I wonder how deep that overhang is...

Once the overhang is gone I would expect the upside resistance to weaken.

Of course, a highly substantive announcement will change the action considerably.
