I suspect we will receive some form of news prior to the GM, but at present, it's difficult to know how quickly the EPC and funding agreements are progressing, so it's difficult to know how much progress any news release will reflect.
Best case might be that the Optimisation Study has been reviewed and endorsed by KP2, and that the EPC Agreement has been received along with a Funding Proposal. Maybe some commentary on construction process also.
More conservative case might be commentary on the Optimisation Study and further updates on EPC and funding.
Regarding the GM, the appointment of a SQM representative as a director seems very positive. SQM seem to be increasing their involvement and investment in KP2 by accepting shares as payment and by seeking a greater level of representation on the Board.
IMO, SQM would only increase their involvement and investment if they could see a clear and positive future ahead for KP2.
It's difficult to know when the funding announcement will drop....it could drop at any time....but when it does drop, our first significant rerate should follow. DYOR. GLTAH.
