Yeah more hype than substance at the moment.
Telsa announces 270K pre-orders for their model 3 .... Lithium stock up everywhere.
You don't need to look that hard to find many articles raising concerns that Telsa might encounter Lithium Supply issues, hence their securing of Lithium suppliers for their Giga Factory last year.
If I was set on a model 3, and I was reading all those articles, I'd be placing a pre-order too.
The question I'd be asking is how many Model 3 cars at 35K is Telsa planning to produce? A lot I would say. For 35K you cannot suggest it is going to be a limited run.
Don't get me wrong future is really bright, but Big buyers are in this for the profit, and with the CR in the mix can see this coming back a little before it next flies.
