    I doubt anyone would sign up an agreement with OBJ in their domain and not request exclusivity. If embarking on this, you don't want to take the risks and costs of development only to find the competitors jump on to the bandwagon upon success. So to me an exclusive agreement is a standard agreement in the context of this technology.
