Although your thinking is logical, I would disagree with you for the following reasons: If a company is suspended, but still listed, it would still show in your portfolio. To vanish, it would mean that the company has been de-listed, or, they have taken the shares our of your account and will replace them with the lesser number of shares due to the share consolidation that we are yet to vote upon.
