We have been told that there is being a review of the mining plan from overseas consultants. such a review costs money, and once ordered takes some time. Rightly the directors have been focused on getting money in the till, and the necessary thereafter steps to enable mining to occur. We are waiting on the results of the mining review. I expects the results shortly if the review is as I expect, greater amounts of gold and a lesser cost of extraction could well be the result. What those results are may have a bearing on what the contractor is asked to mine, and which contractor is asked to mine, and at what cost. Mining is not likely to start I think, before plant that has been ordered, arrives, and is installed.
If I was management I would not have ordered the consultants to conduct the review until the Corus money was to hand. That appears to have been management’s approach. A wise approach.
