How much you get paid for roles can be interesting. Recently share price and sales decline for example then seeing "Tesla pushes for $56bn pay deal for Elon Musk" made me wonder that. 10% or 14000 staff getting sacked might not give shareholders 56 billion back?
Is it the Midas touch or is it just Directors and pay committees putting their hands into the shareholders cookie jar?
