Time is ticking! I take heart that in the US, options can only be exercised on the day of expiry - rather than prior to like we do here. Other factor might be the falling AUD - the lower it goes, the more shares they get. At today's exchange rate it's 54,000,000 shares. What is everyone expecting? Will CAT exercise or not?
