They do accept EFT directly into the company bank account. I did it this way about a month ago. You call call the company direct and ask for the banking details to be emailed to you. Just quote the receipt number on the option conversion form and send it back to the company. Once the company matches the form and payment (about 2 weeks) they automatically forward to the "outsourced" company secretary for them to issue the shares (about 1 week). After all that, it still took Commsec a couple of days to reflect the change - i would suspect other platforms have similar delays also.
