Not sure if you fully understand so I'll just say that you can buy the options NOW for whatever they're selling at or what you choose to bid and you don't have to find the 5c to convert them to a full share until 2013.
That's IF you want to hold them that long...you may want to take a profit before then.
Options trade in their own right up until the expiry date.
