I'm guessing a cheque as it gives then time to play with your money (the brokerage house). Eftpos is pretty much instant or overnight. Cheque's take days to process, days to post, days to be delivered, sometimes days or weeks to bank by the receiver (who goes to a bank anymore) and finally days to clear. They can get an easy 2 weeks playing with your money before you get it using cheque.
