I will start with your last sentence..It sounds like you referring to ESI also waiting around for funding? This would be helpful as ESI have no cash or funding BUT from what I have read, ESI will not qualify for any part of the 90 million funding? Say what you like but anyone who has read the criteria will know that ESI has a slim to no chance of any free cash. They have no backers/funding...
As to your first part of the sentence. I think Exergen and partners do have enough cash BUT the 90 million funding is just showing/proving that the government supports the technology and vision that Exergen/MNM have? Its more about the gov support than the actual funds IMO. If we look at the 90 million, its a drop in the ocean compared to the actual costs involved to develop the BCE/dice technology IMO...
IMO Exergen realise that talk is cheap and want actual commitment from the top before they invest the big big money. If I was a billionare and wanted to do what Exergen/MNM plan, I would also feel much happier if the big boys also put some money where their mouth was as this will make it more difficuilt to change their tune down the line?
Just because big billion dollar companies have huge cash to grow and develop they are also very careful and don't just splash out. These guys IMO are making sure the gov and vic support the future of their tech before they start pumping in the cash...
