The purpose of a Chairman is to assist & advise the MD in all aspects of the business, on top of constantly staying in touch with his major shareholders, constantly seeking to market the company when ever the opportunity arises, if not he or she is to create that that opportunity using there extensive relationships.
I firmly believe that our chairman has not and does not add great value to the organisation, I am looking to seeing a person who can dedicate them selfs to this emerging company in a period of rapid growth.
Mr Peter Bird to this day has not added any major institutions and to add further insult in my opinion has been happy to take his options and has never bought on market to support the stock.
We need someone who has the recent experience in small cap moving to mid cap, but most importantly someone who is willing to be there all the time not when it best suits him.
