Here's another point of view. Suppose UNI had an opportunity to raise capital and had to choose between a small amount and a large amount, and a US raise or an Aussie raise? If they chose an Aussie raise and a large amount to fill the coffers, that would provide a significant benefit to Aussie shareholders and take the risk out of the need for a future raise. As an additional benefit, any US Insto's that didn't get in at this raising, with a future raise unnecessary, or in doubt, would have to buy "on market" and at full price. Not a bad strategy for UNI to consider. Aussie shareholders get all the benefits for their long term support, UNI gets all the capital they need to move their programs forward more quickly, economic factors that may affect the market in 2010 are out of the equation for UNI, and US investors must buy on market if they want to participate. I would like that concept.
