kincella we are self employed and our smsf opened 17 years ago under my acc's advice is one of our best decisions which now gives the benefit of early retirement in our mid 50s and the added benefit of the new tax threshold has allowed us to slowly cut back our long hours and restructure our business life for more time out have half of my assets also out of super for rainy day with no income except long term capital growth and i think most understand the tax basics but it is how one effectively and legitimately uses them to their advantage that counts and some ideas tossed around never goes astray in helping others
