well most people make many mistakes in life's journey... the secret is to learn from the mistake, and try to mitigate it in the future sometimes the best lessons in life, are the result of learning from your mistakes
I am damned if I would buy in an area that was prone to flooding but then again, like Wovenhoe Damn, some idiots in charge, reading from an old book, and even non flood prone homes can cop it there are no guarantees ever, on anything
on the other hand, there are people who are prepared to take a risk, on a 100 year event....they know it is unlikely, but it can happen they may have picked it up at a bargain price... some call it a calculated risk
we are witness to one of the biggest mistakes this country has ever seen, but hopefully it will be all over soon
what has turned me off super, is you get some mongrels who can change the legislation, and so they keep changing the goal posts...
ps if you do the research, from a reputable source, then make notes and lists to remind yourself of what you understand....then next time you visit your accountant, run any questions past him, to confirm you have the correct understanding cheers
