What I question is whether comparing OPEX per ton of concentrate is truly applicable in the case of graphite. The flake distribution in the concentrate will mean that its market price will also vary. Plus, different explorers are targeting final concentrates with different Cg grade a decision that impacts both sales price and OPEX (in casu, e.g., processing varies greatly between KNL, $ 277/t, and SYR, $ 87/t).
In sum, OPEX numbers are key metrics, but need to be placed in a wider context of concentrate typology.
