*There will almost certainly be some gains from the workovers at Maari. These started in July (or possibly August) and my best guess is that they will be completed about February. We have had no results so far,- workovers are a gimme 95% of the time.
Once the workovers are complete all may go silent in that part of the oil well. The large Ensco rig is long gone and only the small workover rig remains.I cant believe that, contemporaneously with renewed drilling at Beibu, that the Maari patch wont benefit from continued ongoing activity while the POO is well down. Not to keep drilling in this patch would not only be a heinous decision but would contradict what HZN has just reiterated yesterday about having a plan to keep up a drilling programme to take advantage from the low POO.
Have a look at-what HZN currently says about spending short funds on drilling
-what HZN says about the "migration path" between Maari and "Matariki"
-what Strachans say about Matariki (either the May or July 2015 report,or both)
Im a proverbial Dutchmans uncle if there isnt a high probability that renewed Beiu drilling is going to be matched by "Maari" drilling being continued over the fence at Makariki.Expand
Most of us who like to make money out of owning shares are always looking for a likely trigger that could energise a languishing SP.Even better,we would like to find that trigger before Mr. Market does. Originally posted by freida ↑There is a backing up of( more ) results from Maari:

At the moment ,at 11 cps SP,most HZN watchers are looking to "PNG" to do the business for us but its very difficult to see any certainty in PNG doing the business for us in a short time frame.
How many people in the market have even heard of Strachan report/s?
Beggar all,IMO.
Imagine what could happen if HZN makes an ann. that "Successful,or very successful,Maari drilling is to be continued over the boundary in PEP..." How long before Strachans views, now given credence by HZN, hits the streets and other analysts start looking at it for a guide on a fresh recommendation on HZN.
What I have written above may not happen. But its got a solid foundation on P32 of the HZN presentation, and Strachans DID write such a report, and continuing Maari drilling in the next-door territory would seem a given to most with a 3 figure IQ...
Just my opinion....
