re: exits amp, hhg, sgb - questions / opinions ?
1) the announcement states that nab have exited at attractive profits on theses investments, they bought amp stake at 6, so did someone offer more than 6 for their combined amp/hhg holding?
2) if so, who is merryl lynch acting for, does that mean another potential bidder has keenly bought their stake creating support for amp?
3) will nab price rally hard as it has been weak partially due to the potential of them making a bid for amp, or was that potential priced out of the market already?
4) or is it another example of nab having no clear direction?
5) does the mkt give up on an amp takeover and amp stock gets hammered?
a fascinating trading day 2morrow, lets hear everyones 2 cents worth.
