In a nutshell: hypothetically if they did not reach strike price of 3 cents and were trading at 2 cents you would have to pay 3 cents to convert them on top of what you have already paid. What you would have to weigh up is the cost of the ordinary shares at the time in comparison to your total outlay and whether it was worthwhile in doing so………
