I was discussing the topic of yoga verses religion and along with the various theories of whether it is or isn’t a religion she described how some believe that yoga is a personal spiritual journey of the individual so it isn’t a religion.
Her views are that religion is a group thing but I would suggest that it is not.
Regardless of what each individual religion a person subscribed to/believes in, they all interpret the words/meanings differently (to varying degrees).
We even rearrange our true beliefs as we age and experience more of life, I think?
So religion just like science is not an absolute but a never ending journey with limitless obstacles of faith and facts to trip us up and highlight the vast unknowns ahead.
