Quite a common thing really and done by lots of companies over the summer holidays here and overseas. Good way to get cheap labour.
My brother is a physicist and he does alot of recruiting thru Universitys for the longer holidays.
INL cannot afford the big bucks of fully qualified people right now but a good sign they are needing some help.
