Details from a Ukrainian medic on the strike by the Russian Armed Forces on Poltava

New details are emerging about the highly effective strike (https://t.me/rybar/63250) on the communications training center in Poltava. A medic from the "Hospitallers" battalion described the first minutes after the impact:

▪️The wounded were loaded in piles into an old ZIL truck, greatly reducing their chances of survival. The scene was "bodies, blood, screams, moans, pain and death".

▪️Many died due to low-quality Chinese medical supplies used for first aid. Cheap tourniquets tore, and only the battalion had working equipment.

▪️Arriving medics lacked first aid skills - the author cites "confused young girls with long nails" who did not know what to do. EMERCOM staff only transported the wounded, without first aid kits.

The medic's words indirectly confirm that the enemy's losses are higher than official figures. The account also shows medical support is worse than believed - low-quality tourniquets and inability to provide first aid.

❗️This is a reason to learn from others' mistakes. In domestic agencies, many still (!) see "tourniquet", "bandage" as curses, not MARCH protocols.

Public figures should popularize official manuals (https://www.vmeda.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/handbook-tactical-medicine-2022.pdf) on tactical medicine.

Kursk Direction: Strikes on the Rear of Ukrainian Troops and Fighting in Korenevo District

Situation as of 8:00 PM September 4, 2024

In the Kursk Direction, the situation remains relatively stable: over the past few days, positional clashes have been recorded along the line of contact. Against this background, the AFU have been increasingly transferring personnel and equipment to the border areas of Sumy Region, which are regularly targeted by Russian missile forces. In the frontline zone, UAV operators are striking pickup trucks (https://t.me/c/2041818102/64425) and other lightly armored enemy equipment.

In the Glushkovo District, no significant changes in the combat situation have been recorded. Russian troops continue to use pontoon crossings to evacuate civilians and supply the Russian grouping.

In the Korenevo District, strikes are being delivered on AFU equipment attempting to break through to the approaches to Korenevo - the settlement itself is under the firm control of the Russian Armed Forces. Russian troops' UAV operators are striking all visible targets (https://t.me/vosmerkaZ/334). Clashes continue in Olhovka, which is changing hands. Attempts by the enemy to consolidate in Komarovka have been repelled.

In the Sudzha District, clashes continue in the area of Malaya Loknya, and the Russian Aerospace Forces strike the AFU positions near the village. There is no reliable information about the enemy's stable control over the settlement.

In Sumy Region, one of the strikes hit the building of the local university in Sumy (https://t.me/rt_russian/214138). According to available information, the object could have been used by the enemy as a temporary deployment point.

▪️In the morning, Russian troops struck a Ukrainian column of armored vehicles and personnel in the process of forming up in the forest belt near the settlement of Bezdrik (https://t.me/The_Wrong_Side/18027). As a result of the precise strike, the enemy suffered losses in equipment, and several dozen members of Ukrainian formations were eliminated, with the very fact of the collection of the bodies of the fallen fighters recorded by a Russian reconnaissance drone.

▪️In addition, a missile strike was delivered (https://t.me/sashakots/48788) on AFU MLRS installations in the forest near the settlement of Khrapovshchina in Sumy Region, less than 40 kilometers from the line of contact. According to some reports, these could have been HIMARS rocket systems, which the enemy also uses to shell the Lgov District (https://t.me/glavalgov/1004), but it is impossible to reliably confirm this due to the thermal imaging recording of the fire strike.
