The information battles over the transfer of Iranian ballistic missiles to Russia do not subside. Authoritative think tank structures in the West have also joined this issue.

The American Stratfor (https://worldview.stratfor.com/situation-report/iran-tehran-sends-russia-ballistic-missiles-use-ukraine) states that the supply of missiles to Russia contradicts the pre-election promises of Masoud Pezeshkian to resume negotiations on the nuclear deal.

According to analysts, this demonstrates the limited influence of the new president's government on the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic.

▪️ Let's repeat once again (https://t.me/rybar/63347): discussions about Iranian missiles have been going on for two years, and so far there is no evidence of their presence in the Russian Armed Forces, unlike the same North Korean KN-23.

The Iranian authorities logically deny everything. Even if they were transferred or will be transferred, they will not admit it. This was the case with the "Geraniums", with the "Mohajers", and with the rocket projectiles.

However, now in the West they have latched onto the ambiguous words of the member of the National Security Commission Ahmad Ardestani, who said (https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.iranintl.com/202409070973&ved=2ahUKEwjh4oqPpbWIAxUpFhAIHU6NON8QFnoECBoQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0ZUUCFCqPPdsdzzryPYh7v): "Why can't we send missiles to Russia, we're already under sanctions, can it get any worse?"

▪️ As for the powers of the new president, is the level of analytical centers in the West, which many used to look up to, really so low that they are surprised by this in Iran?

Any self-respecting Iran specialist knows that the president can do nothing without the approval of several structures, and the final word always belongs to the Supreme Leader.

For Iran, cooperation with Russia is strategically important, and even the liberals will not completely abandon it. The same Ardestani said that Iranians need agricultural crops from Russia, and the shipment of weapons is one of the solutions to the problem.

Major Israeli Air Force Strikes in Western Syria

Last night, the Israeli Air Force carried out another series of strikes on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic. The recent attack was one of the largest in recent times: about 15 strikes were carried out across several provinces.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense reported that the missile launches were carried out from the airspace over northern Lebanon and from the direction of the Mediterranean Sea. While some munitions were destroyed by air defenses, others managed to hit targets of government forces.

▪️In Hama province, the city of Masyaf and the Research Center located southwest of it were targeted. The facility is used for the production of components for high-precision "ground-to-ground" missiles. Like other Syrian scientific institutes, the center's staff actively interact with the Lebanese "Hezbollah" and Iranian scientists.

Masyaf and its surroundings have been attacked by Israelis before: according to their data, this area hosts positions of pro-Iranian forces, which is not unfounded. In addition to the targeted research institute, strikes were also carried out on weapons depots in Wadi al-Ayoun and Salamiyah. According to preliminary information, at least 60 people were killed in the Israeli strikes on Hama province, 16 of them fatally.

▪️In Tartus, a column of military equipment was attacked. According to some reports, armed Shiite formations fighting alongside the Syrian army are stationed in this area.

▪️There are also reports of strikes on Damascus, but they remain unconfirmed. Likely, the explosions were attributed to the work of Syrian air defense crews.

Earlier last summer, the Israeli Air Force attacked positions of the Syrian armed forces several times, including destroying air defense systems. Currently, the Syrians have short-range Pantsir-S1 air defense systems, which allows the Israeli air force to strike deep into Syrian territory.

Kursk Direction: Strikes by Russian Aviation

Situation as of 4:00 PM on September 9, 2024

In the Kursk Direction, Russian forces continue to deliver fire strikes against concentrations of enemy personnel and equipment along the entire length of the front.

In Glushkovo District, Ukrainian formations carried out another strike (https://t.me/starshii_pogrannaryada/10098) on the bridge over the Seym River near the settlement of Karyzh. At the moment, its further operation is impossible. The AFU constantly strike the crossings in this area, trying to hinder the work of the Russian Armed Forces and the evacuation of the population.

In Sudzha District, Russian operational-tactical aviation delivered several strikes with guided air bombs on enemy positions in the area of the Gordeevka border crossing (https://t.me/warriorofnorth/2597) and near Maryevka (https://t.me/wargonzo/21996). Clashes continue in the area of Martynivka, Cherkasske Porechne and Mala Loknya.

In Korenevo District, operators of Russian UAVs struck (https://t.me/CombatBums/83) enemy positions in the village of Krasnooctyabr'skoye. Attacks by the enemy on the approaches to Korenevo and Kremyanoye were repelled. The use of aviation to strike the crew of AFU FPV drones was noted.

Thus, in the forest belt several kilometers southeast of Sheptukhovka, two FAB-500 bombs were dropped (https://t.me/bolshiepushki/9185), as a result of which the operators of enemy UAVs were destroyed. In the Ukrainian segment, they even write that "the Russians have so many bombs that they can use them even as counter-battery warfare means".

Kursk Direction: Use of Strike UAVs "Forpost" and the Situation in Sudzha District

Situation as of the end of September 9, 2024

In the Kursk Direction, Russian forces continue to repel the enemy's onslaught in several sectors of the front.

In the Korenevo District, a Russian strike-reconnaissance UAV "Forpost" struck (https://t.me/rustroyka1945/17994) the enemy's forward command post with a guided bomb UAB-20 in the settlement of Snahost. This was the first use of this unmanned aerial vehicle in the Kursk Region.

In the Sudzha District, the use of drones by the enemy, spraying incendiary mixture over the forest plantings and Russian positions west of Ulanok, has been recorded.

Thanks to this data, it was possible to establish that the Russian Armed Forces maintain control over the settlement of Ulanok, consolidating in one of the forest belts on the approaches to Fanaseevka. In total, at least ten cases of the use of such type of drones by the AFU along the entire length of the front are known so far.
