    I grew up in a Rural Community. Our Bush Fire Brigade Captain (voted for by the community) was the local Village Mechanic. We knew 95% of the community by their first name and the other 5% we knew where they lived.

    If we had a disaster like major fires or floods nobody paniced and everyone helped each other. Roads flooded and food not coming in for a bit, we just shared. Everyone knew most of the close community members phone numbers.

    People in Cities fight over toilet paper .................... imagine if food really was scarce????

    Certainly won't be like my old Rural Community.
