Kursk is actually a golden oppurtunity for the Russians.
They are annihilating the last and best units of Ukronazis.
Since they are terrorists and not soldiers they can kill them all to the last man, no fuss or muss with wounded or prisoners.
Total meat grinder, the Russians were never going after territory as a primary objective, any turf gained was secondary.

The violation of Russian sovereign territory and the killing of civilians by the Ukronazis dramatically increased Russian Patriotism and resolve.
