The news re SC54 drilling was contained in NDO's Q'ly for 30 June....viz

pgs 1 and 4...another 165sqkm of 3D to be shot commencing end of 3rdQ 2007. Mostly to do with Princessa.

They are planning on drilling the first exp well (sub phase 3) in SC54 in the 2nd H of 2008.....SUBJECT to rig availability!

They have not yet said WHAT they will drill first in SC54.
If I had to put money on it, I'd say Coron Nth.
YGL would do well to get oil with their first hole...NDO will already have a substantial income by then.

Remember back in May I said to you guys, when the Nido shallow reef pinnacles ROD was being bandied about, ......"there will not be any drilling in SC54 before this time next year!".....I got howled down!

I did get the sp wrong though....said it would back up and consolidate in the mid teens....can't win em all! The sp is a lot harder to pick than the pace of a work programme!
