Birdmanz..
The pace of UCG is gathering speed.
Noticed that Laurus [Ergo] has hit the "take notice"
list of Greentech and passes their selection criteria.
* Technology edge
* Potential to severely disrupt the market [love that]
* Great management team
* Massive market opportunity
* Substantial war chest
* Feasibility exit strategy
* Sheer hype power
* Only venture- backed private firms.-----
Of further interest....
Laurus is attracting more people of calibre.Rebbecca
McDonald [ex BHP] has been at the helm since 2008.
Recently Laurus has enticed Don Turkleson to join
their management team as Chief financial officer.
When CFO and vice president for Cheniere energy inc,
Mr Turkleson help Cheniere's financing of $6 billion
for their LNG projects. [not bad]
Mr Turkleson also served as vice president for Petro
Corp,an oil and gas exploration and production company.
He also assisted in the negotiation for seven hundred,
[700] oil and gas properties.
Rebbecca McDonald...."Don brings deep domain expertise
from the oil/gas industry,as well as tremendous knowledge
about the financial requirements associated with LARGE
SCALE PROJECTS".
"He will be instrumental in growing our business and
managing our capital structure". ---------
What has all this have to do with Cougar...EVERYTHING.
Here we have TWO UCG companies with the same technology
attracting high profile people into their ranks for future growth and
development.The reason?..perhaps Matt Simmons prediction
of between $50/100 TRILLION WILL BE SPENT ON PEAK OIL
TO AVERT A GLOBAL CRISES... is one reason.
Oil companies see the writing on the wall,with gas being
the way of the future.Success at Kingaroy,will eventually
blow the head off coal's "conventional wisdom." [imo]
Both Cougar and Laurus have a winning team,with a con-
centration of dedicated veteran players.. and in all
probability will set future standards for UCG in this
country and the U.S.
[A little experience upsets a lot of theory :)
