You say that CHN is "now supported by a share buyback". But the buying back seems to have baulked. There was the initial activity in April following the announcement of the buyback in March. The company made it announcements to the ASX of acquiring shares at 15cents and 15.5cents.
But there have been no announcements of buying back since 29th. April and sellers are once again offering at 15c. and 15.5c. Additionally nothing looks like a buyback bid on the buying side of the current buy/sell quotes in the market depth prices.
Can this mean that we may be coming up for some sort of announcement, and that shares can't be traded for a period before such an announcement? I'm afraid I don't know, but there must be some reason why it's gone all quite.
