Anybody following GIP is now waiting for the release of the BFS. As most would agree expectations are high that it will be positive. I too have such expectations.
I put it to the board though that the release of the BFS will not in itself propel the GIP price significantly further forward. In my experience the old saying buy on rumour sell on fact seems to come true 99 times out of 100.
I don't expect price to run away when positive BFs hits market and actually I would expect a bit of selling as those that have bought for short term gain try to sell.
As this market is not particularly liquid I would imagine price can move down a bit.
However, if BFS is positive then the short term selling should not matter in the mid to long term as the project gets closer to taking off.
