my point probably wasn't well conveyed, I was using mining specs as an example to compare to ADO, I'm not saying you should go invest in a mining spec ! With mining spec plays at least you have a reasonable idea of timelines and when targets will be hit such as JORC resource definition, BFS completion, first production, etc. With ADO its how long is a piece of string question.
